A breathtaking journey to the past thanks to the legacy they have left us ... a legacy that lives on today through language, civilization, culture, daily life and customs, cuisine ... all our daily lives, at least in much of Europe, has its foundations in the Greco-Roman sources ... Thank you!

Hola Manuel,

Yes, this had to be Rome!
Roman history has captivated us and there is so much evidence in so many countries!
I love how you have filled the f/g with the soldier's helmet. It is sharp and very eye-catching as well as being so symbolic. It makes a great link to the b/g which, I hope, is the colosseum, with just a brief glance at the figures to give scale and animation.

Belle originalité dans cette présentation de Rome. Le rouge attire l'attention et le Colisée en arrière plan nous situe très bien. J'imagine que les gladiateurs vous ont demandé leur dû!

The Romans are back. I've been Rome a few year ago and I've seen those guys dressed as Romans for tourists. Great composition, colours and sharpness.

Hola Manuel,
Me gusta tu idea de presentarnos estos dos sìmbolos de Roma.
Excelente corta toma del casco de centuriòn, con la tìpica pluma roja.
Optimo efecto creado por el Coliseo en el fondo. Interesante tu nota que nos recuerda que la civilisaciòn romana es la origen de nuestra civilisaciòn occidental.
Un ejemplo de colonisaciòn eficaz que aplanò todo y destruyò otras civilisaciones locales, como lo hicimos después en nuestras colonìas :-(
Ahora, los Estados Unidos son el equivalente del Empirio Romano : Tienen muchos factores positivos, pero negativos también.
