The Fort Prenestino is one of the fort built in Rome in the time between the years 1877 and 1891. It is situated in -Prenestino Centocelle, in the territory of the Municipality of Rome VII. It was built from 1880 to 1884 at 4° Km of via Prenestina, currently the fort and the green area that surrounds it will cover an area of 13.4 hectares. In 1977 the City of Rome has taken over the fort, but never use it and leaving it in a state of neglect. Designed in the 1962 General Plan to zone N (green areas) in the last plan was reelected to "public parks and public services locally." From 1 May 1986, the fort is occupied by the self-social center (CSOA) Forte Prenestino that, through its action, has in fact made the one of the Forts of Rome, which to date has been re-functionalized and made accessible citizenship. In the fort there are many activities, including this photographic exhibition, but also concerts, yoga classes, cinema, and much more.
