The Roman Forum (Forum Romanum, Foro Romano) is a rectangular forum (plaza) surrounded by the ruins of several important ancient government buildings at the center of the city of Rome. Citizens of the ancient city referred to this space, originally a marketplace, as the Forum Magnum, or simply the Forum.

Hi Daniel. A fine depiction of this famous spot. the exposure is handled very well so that all the details are retained in both shadow and the light.Great crispness and fine colours. Those trees are something special. Regards. Klaudio.

I like the POV that gives the opportunity for such depth of field. The colour saturation is exact and the contrast is enough to highlight one of the majot architectural ruins of the 'forum'.
If I am not mistaken - the three columns are that of the ancient Temple of Castor & Pollux ( the twin sons of Jupiter / Zeus and Leda.
The trees in the road side in the background look beautiful against the blue skyline.
The details of the three columns are sharp and clear and are central to the composition of the photograph.
Thanks for sharing.

back to your beloved Roma. A classic shot of a classic piece of Roman history. Love the colours here that stand out so vibrantly in this clever composition that makes full use of the light and shade to give scale and depth. Excellent!
Best wishes - Brian.

Nice view on the ruins, but it's possible to add more lights on the shades without touching the highlights.
