Photographer's Note
This picture I did it in Rome. You can see Colloseum.
The Colloseum is one of the most famous amphitheater. The building was in the 1st Century after Christ was built. The theater had about 50,000 spectators. The base of the theater was about the extent of today's football stadiums. The arcades around the Colloseum were 48 meters high.
Modern technology allowed even the theater to fill with water to water battles to organize.
"Bread and games" was the magic word in Roman times. The politicians tried the people with gladiator fights, animal fights, and even naval battles to keep in a good mood.

It was cruel times in the heyday of the Coliseum, but today it is a marvel of Roman architecture. I haven't been yet to Rome, but of course I recognise the famous ruin. What is the ruin to the right of it? Your high POV was well chosen to show the Coliseum in its setting.

Adrian
A good pov which shows the Colloseum in its modern era surroundings. I like the tree tops in the foreground, adds a lot of vibrant colour to the shot.
