Photographer's Note
On the beach of Marina di Cerveteri, near Rome, I was struck by this fisherman and from the light, I particularly liked the moment, the fishing line taut and he pulled the fishing rod to see what it was attached to the hook.

Cao Valter,ha molto, moltissimo in comune con la mia di oggi,tu hai scelto il bianco e nero ed e' una soluzione molto efficace in situazioni come queste,il pescatore sembra aver preso qualcosa, bellissimi i raggi di luce.Buona serata,Luciano

Hello Valter,
A classically beautiful composition. The silhouette of the fisherman is ideally placed in the scene, and the hinge makes a fine symmetry. The beautiful light setting and the cloud patterns on the sky makea wonderful scenery.
Have a nice evening,
Regards,
Maria

Ciao Valter
la posa del pescatore rende la foto originale, una posa molto dinamica e non la classica posa statica di chi aspetta, sembra addirittura folgorato da una qualche visione e la luce che scende dal cielo sembra dimostrarlo.
Bello scatto.

Buona sera Valter,
Beautiful how you managed to convey the vertical sun-rays "curtain" the seaside scenery.
The moment as light shown through the clouds, partially on water surface and also the silhouette of the angler, created a magnificent photo.
Lovely scenery.

Hello Valter,
The horizon has a fine silver lining in this nice composition. The silhouette of the fisherman is very expressive and the sunrays are spectacular. This is a very nicley done conversion to b&w.
Kind regards,

Ciao caro Valter,
An interesting note and a lovely contre jour shot with the lone fisherman beautifully sihouetted against the sea and sky behind him.
The bright reflections on the rough sea are delighful as are the beams of sunlight streaming through the clouds.
Perfectly exposed (in difficult conditions) and exquisitely clear and sharp.
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hello Valter - Nice shot. It works well in B&W and the effect of the suns rays through the clouds is well captured, I love the bright light on the horizon; very atmospheric. And the fisherman leaning back and the sunlight just catching the line tells the story... I hope it will not be about the one that got away! Nicely seen and managed. Hope all is well, warm regards rosemary

Hello again Valter,
how could I missed this one.For me everything about it is perfect.Love the specific atmosphere of it-it has kind of soltitude and intimate feeling. Also your B&W both choice of this color scheme as well as its treatment were great. It makes the perception of this scene even stronger.Iīm just surprised you do not get too much appreciation for this one.It deserves definitely much more as itīs really remarkable shot.
Kind regards

Ciao Valter,
Complimenti e grazie!
Tanti saluti e buona giornata,
Ourania
