Trieste city center Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is Piazza Goldoni, that can be considered Trieste center: it is a square but also a traffic hub, if I can use this word. In the right side was created a little space for bars and people.

I captured this view from San Giusto hill and from the top of "Scala dei Giganti" - Giants Stiarway, and ancient monumental one under which is a tunnel connecting different sides of the town.

Trieste is a beautiful town. Here you cannot see its sea, but you can notice that it is surrounded by a highland: the Carso, a fantastic natural parck.

Bella prospettiva della zona centrale, mi piace l'inqudratura con la vista delle colline del Carso, Trieste è sempre bella, solo per fare il perfezionista la parte a sx mi sembra leggermente sovraesposta.

bella foto. I couldn't make to Trieste, so it's nice to see it on pictures :)
The image looks good, with nice composition and colours. a POV with good perspective and depth.
To me the light is a little too strong on the top and there is a little tilt, but anyways a nice shot

Trieste looks beautiful in this photo. The POV is excellent giving a wonderful perspective . The colours are good. A difficult view to exposure due to high contrasts. Some details are a little over exposed, but it does not make the important details unreadable. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Livia, How nice to see Trieste. Many years ago I was in Trieste, several times. I remember this view! Splendid panorama, nice colours.

Molto buona questa immagine che da quasi le vertigini, molto profonda grazie al taglio verticale ed al terrazzino in primo piano. Le condizioni di ripresa non ti concedevano la tutta latitudine di posa necessaria per dettagliare luci ed ombre, ma di più non si poteva (salvo combinare due esposizioni).

Ottimo spunto! Composizione decisamente perfetta, che mi fa gustare anche le colline carsiche sullo sfondo e dà alla foto un'anima più viva...

Trieste è una città bellissima, piace tanto anche a me.
Ho letto, ma è intuibile per il suo ruolo, che ha una storia significativa di multiculturalità anche religiosa.
Bello questo pov, da sfruttare furbescamente la prossima volta che vengo da queste parti.
