Photographer’s Note
This is a postcard from Grignano Mare, nearby Trieste, where is organized the TE exhibition "Viaggiando Immaginando". It's the view you have in front of the exhibition palace.
I was there together with my girlfriend saturnday, last week. And was an amazing experience! Really nice and exciting.
The photos are presented through back projectors in perhaps 10 wide screens (2m. x 3 m. each.). The sequences are divided in landscapes, cities, faces... and every sequence begin together, synchronized with the music and starting from the same meridian (New Zealand if i remember exactly). We are remained in the expo almost 2 hours, a very, very interesting time!
My BEST COMPLIMENTS TO ALL THE PHOTOGRAPHERS and naturally to ETTORE & THE OTHERS GUYS OF THE ORGANIZATION!!
Is really a pity not to have the possibility to buy a DVD, because the exhibition isn't only a sequence of photos, is a multimedial experience.
Sorry if i don't have any shot of the inside, i was not sure if this was permitted. The exhibition end is this sunday (16-01-2005), go if you can!

For my personal point of view this a great shot AND composition. You have a near well defined aproaching plane and other distant. The overall shot is in a good perspective and enquadrement. Definition near and blur at distance. The sea birds are in frontal mouvement and are a must to this good work! Happy new year for you and good work. For others I have a post at "TE". Congratulations.

I wish I could have gone to see it. I had hoped to be able to in December but it couldn't happen. This is a nice view as you look down the promenade. The gulls have a great presence making me hear their sound as they fly around. I like how the hillside rising from the water is captured here. The buildings on it rises very loftily like the birds. The lighting also gives a very light weight to the image.
