Photographer's Note

The Rilke's path, one of the most evocative and accessible path of the Carso. Here, in fact, loved to walk the poet Rainer Maria Rilke, host of the principles of Thurn und Taxis. Just read the "Duino Elegies" to find the indelible mark of the charm of the Karst Edge, a white cliff into the sea.
Here the look is lost between huge limestone rocks shaped by erosion, towers and walls overlooking the sea. And then, in the background, the castle of Duino, clinging to a cliff that seems to come from the hands of a sculptor.
