Photographer’s Note

Like in many parts of the world, and like in many religions, also in Italy Catholic saints and God are sometimes put near the streets to invite people to pray.

Here I post a small copy of Lourdes Grotto with its Madonna, built in the Spilimbergo way named "Viale Barbacan" between a residence for old people and a famous very good ice cream shop.
I captured it at night, holding my camera on a low wall.

Scena difficile da riprendere, molto ben riuscita, senza neppure un filo di sovraesposizioni locali. Ottima anche la resa della roccia. Immagine adatta al formato quadrato.
