Mirror in Lago di Redona Photo

Photographer’s Note

This lake is between Meduno and Tramonti, two villages in Eastern prealpi.
I had a tour here with our TE friend René Toriello (Resato).
Weather was not good for photos, but the lake was still like a mirror.

Ho fatto un giro ai laghi di Redona e di Selva con l'amico di TE Renè (resato): il tempo era grigio, però il lago era senza vento liscio come uno specchio

Hallo Livia!
This one looks like a painting of an old master! A gorgeous sight indeed - not a single "screaming" colour in all the scenery! I like the calm atmosphere very much. The a bit hazy background creates a wonderful depth into the landscape. Really beautiful!

As you say , we can see that the weather was not at its best . But the reflection is really perfect . And your composition , in a well chosen format , is beautiful .

Straordinaria simmetria verticale accompagnata da una quasi-simmetria orizzontale.
Potevi ruotarla come volevi (90° a destra o a sinistra, oppure 180°), è bella comunque.

Really a beautiful picture..there was a thought..an intention..a composition in mind..and the execution is just perfect..good use of the light and the elements.

i dont see sunlight..the colours are a bit soft..dont you thinkk..but youve gor a great reflection..

did you own a polarizer ?

uno dei più bei scatti con riflesso che abbia mai visto, effetto spettacolare. Cercando il pelo nell'uovo un po' più di luce e contrasto forse avrebbero reso la vista più "spettacolare".

Ciao Livia,e' un tema fotografico che apprezzo sempre e che sperimento sempre lungo il mio Ticino.Certo che qui abbiamo esagerato,il panorama e' davvero ricco e offre dei riflessi stupefacenti.Forse e' un pochino chiara,ma non si puo' avere tutto dalla vita...complimenti e buon weekend,LUCIANO

un paesaggio stupendo un acqua cosi' calma meritava una luce migliore ma non si puo' pretendere tutto dalla vita, mi sono permesso di giocare un po' con la tua foto spero che il risultato ti piaccia, non ho fatto hdr ma ho usato solo dei filtri.

Wow! Very nice mirror effect on this calm still lake and what a wonderful scenery!

I agree, the light is a bit unattractive to give this flat view with low contrast, but doing your best by good exposure control is done nicely.
