I was kind a lucky. Went to Italy for my job and got to spent an extra day in the beautiful town of Ravenna. This is the painting in the dome of the San Vitale church, a splendid little church that also contains some magnificent mosaics. The hardest part was obviously coping with the low light conditions. I managed to keep my small 35mm prime steady for 1/8s by leaning against a pillar.

Hello Mark,
Great photo with beautiful colors and extravagant details.
Thanks for sharing and have a nice week,
Hulya

Hi Mark,

Nice capture with nice POV! But what happened to the colors?! I also think it's a pity you cut of the left part of the 'inner circle' of the highest part. I made a workshop for this photo, tell me what you think of it!

Greetings,
Thomas
