Photographer’s Note
This bridge was built in the first years of '900 to serve the rising tramway line in Valnure, later called "Littorina" due to the fascism. It remained in service until '60s, and since that it is unfortunately left as is, and nowadays it's still on but not more useful.
Some years ago the Major of Ponte dell'olio, in association with local shops, decided to make such a suggestive effect placing some yellow lamps. In this way the bridge can make its presence again.
Last but not least, this is one of the most relevant "corner bridges" in Europe, maybe you can note that taking a look at the satellite images.

Hello Davide,
To critique your photo I must say it is too dark, if we talk about showing us the bridge. There is only a minor part of the bridge visible and if I came to Pontedellolio I probably wouldn't recognize it is the same bridge. The reason why this happened are the lamps under the bridge and that you shot directly at them. If you would have chosen a different angle, where the lamps themselves would have not been in the photo, the bridge could have been better illuminated and it would have been much better overall result. now, as you have strong lapms and dark background together, the lamps are overexposed and the rest underexposed. I hope you find my critique useful.
I want to thank you for a good note - it is really in the spirit of TrekEarth to provide good notes and open an opportunity for viewers to learn something about the different corners of earth.
Thanks for sharing.
