Ciao Anna,
Ferrara è la mia città preferita dell'Italia forse perché sia la prima città dove sono andato in Italia. Avevo 15 anni, era nel 1967!!! da allora, vi torno regolarmente, vi ho molto grandi amici... allora quando ho visto la tua fotografia, io hanno immediatamente riconosciuto il mattone ed il gioco dell'ombra e della luce che fanno i pioppi del corso Ercole I di Este, i ciottoli del Po e... la bicicletta ed ho pensato ovviamente a Bassani. La luce meravigliosa di Ferrara, occorre sapere captarla, sei riuscito, ed Antonioni anche avrebbe riconosciuto la sua città.

A good observation Anna, the light brings the scene to life.
There are lovely textures,and the man on his bicycle is positioned just right.

The character is well placed in frame.

This is a lovely study of the different textures of the handsome building and the pavement - all softened by the dappled light.
Very pleasing colours and composition.

Hi Anna,
The dappled light and the mans thoughtfull exppression gives a nice relaxed and laid back atmosphere to the shot. Love the different textures from the cobbles to the paving to the bricks.

Comme d'habitude, j'aime tes images, avec ce beau graphisme sur les murs. Le cycliste qui passe lentement a tout le loisir d'admirer la belle vue qui s'offre à lui.

I can imgine the trees standing tall at your back, and the soft breeze shaking their leaves and touching the cyclists face. Splendid light and a joyous moment.

Hi Anna. Nice play of light and shadow to add to the patterns and colours of the background. The cyclist is well isolated from the background and adds another dimension to the scene. Well considered shot. Thanks for sharing.
