Photographer’s Note
The two leaning towers, Garisenda (left, 48 meters) and Asinelli (right,98 meters) are the symbol of Bologna. When built, around year 1100, there were from 80 to 100 towers in the center of Bologna. Now only 6 or 7 are left. Tower Garisenda was higher than now in the past, but then it was cut as it was leaning more and more, after a crumble under its base.
They bith lean 2 or 3 meters from top to bottom.
With a long staircase it is possible to reach the top of Torre Asinelli (the highest of the two).
The many university students of Bologna never do it, as it is believed that if one does it, he will never get the degree.
With the Sigma 10-20 the towers and the surrounding buildings assume a strange shape.
Here I also increased the contrast, underexposing a bit too.

Ciao Stefano,

Ciao Stefano,
Beautiful picture of the 2 leaning towers of Bologna. The POV choosen is good but maybe it would have been better to use HDR technique to get the most out of the colors and details of this place. This would have made the towers more majestous and imperious.
Cheers,
Edi

Hello Stefano! I stood there in January ... :))) and I made it up to the top ... many steps and yet a good exercise. A young man told me your story when I reached the top that he had received his degree the other day and it was the first time for him to be up there ... Successful shot, not easy to bring them into a whole picutre. You did well. Best regards, Barbara.

Ciao Stefano,

Ciao

Ciao Stefano!
Another very well chosen and pretty interesting pov - this time a low one!
Composition is excellent, sharpness is very good and exposure is correct! Colors are naturally beautiful! Very attractive architecture image!
TFS - congratulations!
Best regards,
Neyvan

Hello, fellow physicist.
I like the use of the superwide angle lens here, accentuating the verticality and height of the towers. So, the famous university town, Bologna, was like San Gimignano, whose towers survived in greater abundance.
Warm regards,
Bulent
