Photographer’s Note
This restaurant in Sorrento is perched on the cliff, with a magnificent view of Mt Vesuvius across the Bay of Naples. I didn't actually dine here, but I wanted to get a photo from this location, so I went in and studied the menu then left, and took the photo on my way out. I wonder if the Romans who lived here had a similar view in 79 AD, when the volcano blew its top.
I applied a contrast mask in Photoshop lighten up some of the shadow areas.

Hello Vincent.
A lovely view over these tables set for dinner. Magnificent view of Vesuvius, and a lovely light falling on the column. I like the timing to capture the ship passing by. Maybe a little crop of the very dark areas on top, right and below. But great idea for a picture and nice atmosphere.
Regards,
Andrew
