Romagnano al Monte was a little town between Campania and Basilicata. It rose on a steep and rugged mountain. After the desruptive earthquake of 1980 (which caused more than 2000 deads in the region), Romagnano, like some other towns in Basilicata, was completelly abandoned. And a people of this town founded a new town in a neighbour valley.
The town is somewhat mysterious and sad. Some houses are surprisingly well preserved, but a lot of them are ruined.
As you can see, the dominant colours are the orangish grey of the houses and the green of the grass.
Unfortunatelly the quality of this picture is not excellent (because of my camera), so I couldn't crop or modify it.

nice ruins, maybe you could have cut the photo a bit so the top so the red bar doesnt show
however great colours, nice alley

I want to be here, so the photo captures a good essence of place even if as you mention there could be a wee bit of cropping.
