This is the ruins of the church of Sant Eustachio, seen from near Ravello on the Amalfi coast. Views like this are common on the walking path that leads down from Ravello to Atrani and Amalfi. The terraced vineyards and limestone cliffs are typical of this part of Italy.
This is a telephoto shot; the church is on the other side of a deep ravine from the walking path. Photoshop was used to brighten up some of the shadows.

The ruins have an almost surreal feeling about them Vincent. A dramatic setting emphahsised by the faded colour in the left background.

Beautiful depth and clarity. What a charming place. Walking down the paths must have been quite a photo journey. Very nice job.
