Photographer's Note

Atrani neighbours Amalfi so closely that it's almost the same town. One takes a path of laneways that starts at the base and to the left of the always buzzing cathedral of Sant'Andrea in Amalfi and follows them along the sea (for the most part) until one ends up on the quiet shore of Atrani. Atrani is the second smallest commune in Italy, and the difference between the two towns is very pronounced. As if you stepped into a cool and quiet room after a loud and busy day and shut the door behind you.
