Photographer’s Note

From Positano I travelled to Amalfi where this shot was taken. Amalfi town was founded in the 9th century and became a maritime superpower. However, it is in the tourist industry that nowadays its name lives on. One thing that took my breath away was the variety of contrast in colours the town offers you, particularly these bright pinky flowers against the clear blue sky.
