Hello Lisa,
A wonderful capture, with soft tones and a well-chosen POV. Personally I would crop the lower part a little bit, to give full space to the awe-inspiring sculpture, but that's just me :)
Great job, and TFS!

Hello Lisa,
The sepia tone here is lovely. Good textural details on the pair of guardian stone lions in the fountain, with superb sharpness & tonal range. Is that a dodo or an eagle sculpture? Smart choice of a vertical frame too, & tfs!

Hello Lisa - The monochromatic toning works rather well in this instance. It gives the image a creative, rather old look. It works particularly well because the detail fades away gently towards the bottom of the frame in much the same way as an old photograph fades. Well considered PP work. Hope you are having a great weekend. Rosemary

hi lisa,
love your presentation of the fountain in this picture with the vertical format. the soft almost sepia type effect gives the image a classic timeless quality. lovely contrasts of shade and light.

Hello Lisa,
this is a fine candidate for mono and the soft sepia suits it ever so well.
The water pouring from the fountain before turning into those lovely bubbles adds greatly to the whole mood of the scene.
There is a great deal to enjoy in this shot.
Best regards Les.

Ciao Lisa
I live the black and white in that composition. The water provides a kind of softness in the bottom of the picture.
Very well done
Have a nice weekend

Gidday Napolilisa,
Interesting coloring, sepia film like, and the focus is on the classical fountain details rather than colors.
Looks like a fine place to romanticize and relax.
The America's Cup in Naples would be a fantastic time to visit...
Hope you are warm and healthy,
Cheers,

Bonjour Lisa,
un sépia très vieillissant et tu as aussi utilisé une police de caractère qui fait pensé aux vieilles machines à écrire, bien vu !!
Les lumières sur cette scène sont parfaites.
Un excellent dimanche.
Daniel.

Hello Lisa,
The black and white treatment suits perfectly bringing an air of nostalgia to the shot. The tight crop suits well and I like the excellent detail to be scene in the sculpture. Enjoy what remains of your Sunday night.

Hi Lisa
love this! It is so fascinating and a vision in B&W. Just love all the textures and the sharp detailing. The streak of the water and the bubbles are pure genius in adding that little piece of magic we all strive for in our photography. Superb imagery!
Wishing you a peaceful Sunday - Brian.

Hi Lisa,
Composition looks as an old painting, and yet a marvelous image.
The water coming through the Lion mouth give a division mark in picture (or at least my first impression).
Fine shot, well applied.
Have a nice week ahead,
Ike

Ciao Lisa,
This is a beautiful view of this imposing fountain and the stonework lends itself well to balck and white.
Wonderful sharp details in the magnificent stone carving and I like the way the lower part of the picture almost disappears into obscurity in the water of the fountain's basin.
Lovely!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hi Lisa
funny how by turning the photo into black and white can have such a dramatic effect...the water looks strange at the bottom of the frame. Seems like the water and the statue are almost one entire entity. it reminds me of something, i just cant put my finger on it.
it would be interesting to compare this one to the original color version.
fun to view, and i'm sure even more fun to see in person.
PS
I got back to you about my TE burnout!
see you around.

Hi Lisa
Here's great attractive and something special about the sculptures and definition that make them a fascinating subjecst to shoot and i think the sepia tone adds to the feeling of age, reminiscent of things past, very appropriately. Closeness is definitely a bonus for this excellent historical structures definitely caught the eye and the fountain foreground add a sense of height and feel of the place. Nice pleasing shot, Lisa
Best regards

Ciao, Ma chère Lisuzza-san,
This is one of the most impressive sepia images. The POV is masterfully chosen and the richness in overall tones is stupendous. Considering the balance of the image, I wouldn’t change anything. I simply like the image as is. The presented image has an enormous volume describing the nature of the sculpture so well. I can’t quite figure out what it is, but there is this unmistakable personal touch, which is very much, and uniquely yours. The bottom part of the image is left open, this is very effective. This particular open space allows the image to breath naturally on its own. How satisfying this image is, I like this photo as well as the other images in your gallery. We must thank you for all the photos.
With my very best and warmest regards,
Have a very pleasant Sunday, Lisuzza-san
Nobuccio.
P.S: I would like to write more lengthily, but this is my hospital day. I must prepare to leave for the hospital. I will be thinking of you.
