A view from Ravello looking down across the Bay of Naples.
The classic view with the famous pine tree lending itself to the composition.
We had caught the bus to the little town of Ravello, and it kept threatening rain; so we were fortunate to have some reasonably clear views along the coast.
Just a small part of the Amalfi Coast.

A well premeditated perspective, where you put the tree and canopy on a precise pointnot to obsecure the wonderful coastline bellow.
Inspite the clouds managed the wonderful sight with great clarity and depth along. Purple flowers added much cahrm.

A well known viewpoint in the beautiful Ravello and always a pleasure to look at.
On that foggy day the flowers on the foreground add colour at the picture.
Excellent sharpness and composition.
Best regards, Paul

a classical view of the scene with the trees playing their part in a strong composition, the overcast conditions have helped to bring out the colours in the FG whilst the mist adds a nice atmosphere.

What a blast from the past! I think I should perhaps have addressed you not as Jean but as Mrs. Pargetter! Do you remember those in-depth discussions we used to have on TrekLens about pargeting (or pargetting) of house walls in Essex? That must have been at least four or five years ago.
So nice to see you here again! Actually, up until just over three years ago I was quite active on TL but - after a misguided venture into "internet dating" - I met up with a half a dozen TE members in Cumbria - and we've met again a few times since (and with others too) - I must say that I've sadly not given much attention to TL. And the last time I looked very briefly at TL, you were the only friend I had there :( - all the others have either left, departed this life or are no longer active.
Anyway, Jean, I suppose I'd just better write something nice about this photograph. So here goes. Actually, it's rather beautiful and it's also very well composed too with the two trees making a strong foreground statement and yet letting us see beyond to the distant land and seascape. I love the little tower at bottom right as it pokes its little nose into the scene. The light is beautifully soft, the colours are vibrant and the details and sharpness are exquisite.
P.S. So is this a come back for you? Have you also lost friends on TL? Apart from yourself, I couldn't find many people that I knew there last time I looked and I also felt that there was not quite as much interesting stuff going on. Trampas, thankfully, has gone but I don't see many of the rest of the clan there either - Chefcop, Derona, scot, Bri, eyesthetix (a brilliant night photographer), Rew Shearer (from N.Z.) - all appear to have gone and Bev (Royaldevon) - who is lovely as also is her husband, Len (both of whom I've met) - also appears to have absconded to TE. Gee, I really look forward to seeing more of your pictures here, Jean. Are you going still to be active on TL?
You take care,
