Photographer’s Note
I loved this rundown little port in Naples.
I converted the photo to BW and surprised on its atmosphere reflecting to the wave of Italian films of famous creators, like Rosselini, Visconti, De Sica from the 1940s and 1950s, called neorealism.
I hope you also like it.

Hi Jalab,
I am surprised that this picture has not collected any comment.
I want to encourage you. There are good thinks and less good ones, by mine point of view. The subject is interesting in itself, with boats and urban view together and gives the feeling of an old movie, and the b/w was a proper choice.
The sharpness is not at the best, and probably the position of the man in the center is giving something of static.
But at the and is a valid shot that deserves more attention of many other pictures that collect more points..

Good morning Jalab
Indeed the b/w version does give this feeling of neorealism with its distinctive characteristics. Dark and moody at times but strong and common in everyday life of those days.

Hey Jalab,
Very nice composition of the boats at the port. The meeting point of the boat, the man and the staircase draw the eye and create an interesting composition. The B&W is excellent idea, with good contrast. I wish the photo was sharpened by a bit, though...
TFS!

Hello Jalab,
I agree with Benedetto: this picture should deserve more appreciation of what it got. I like the composition, the interesting subject and the atmosphere. With a bit of pp you could improve the tecnical faults.
Best greetings,
Donato
