Photographer’s Note

This winter it was very cold here in Napoli, and the peak of Vesuvio was full of snow!
This picture was taken at the end of January, I was coming back from the top of Monte Somma, it was early afternoon and the sun was descending gently in the sea of the gulf!
It was a very clear and beautiful day!

Une bien agréable photo, qui montre même le chemin d'accès pour atteindre le cratère.
Les couleurs sont très bien rendues.
De même que l'impression de froid au niveau de certaines couleurs froides.

Complimenti Fabio, è una fato realmente molto bella e molto dettagliata. si vede molto bene la strada che arriva sino alla cima del Vesuvio.
per di più vederlo tutto ricoperto di neve, e da tanta neve, è veramente una cosa unica!

complimenti Fabio, bellissima foto per un soggetto che spesso vede la neve almeno in questo ultimo anno.!mi piace il tuo taglio e il punto di vista estrememente inusuale per il Vesuvio, almeno vista da Napoli,
ma adesso siamo in estate e la stagione è cambiata........e di neve se ne vedrà tra un bel pò !

Great lighting and detail on this shot. I would suggest cropping a little bit of the empty sky from the top.

sembra un'altro vulcano agli occhi meno esperti perchè il POV è diverso dal solito cliché. E' una foto molto ben definita e con le giuste proporzioni.
