Photographer's Note

Villa Jovis (Villa of Jupiter) is a Roman palace atop Monte Tiberio on the northeast corner of Capri. It was built by emperor Tiberius who ruled from there between AD 27 and AD 37. It's only a 2 km walk from Capri Town, but it's all up hill. The ruins take some imagination to visualize in their original state, but the views are just wonderful.
