Photographer’s Note

While I waited for my wife who was shopping while we visited this lovely island, these two tourists stood for at least five minutes, unmoving, discussing something/someone below in the harbor. Finally, I could wait no longer and took the picture. Within seconds, like they were tired of posing, the two turned and walked on down the street. I am so glad I didn't wait any longer.

Hello John, I think that with a ' Nikon D7O '
it is possible to do a better photo .....
especially in size and framing, for
the others it looks like to me a
nice and entertaining image.

Welcome to TE community with your 1st post entry of candid street shot to start your photography experience here. This is very interesting shot to share what you saw at the location looking to the sea. Perhaps if I may make some comments about this photo below.

1. the photo size is too small to show good detail, try to resize to 800pixel long side and upto 300kb limit

2. avoid a crop of the sign post
3. interesting title and note you have done!
4. visit as many galleries and give critiques as much as you can, because it helps to draw some visitors to yours

5. some may ask you to avoid the blue rubbish bin but the color can provide a good addition here, so you have to decide on this

Hello John, Thanks for taking the time to comment on my photo, I looked at yours & decided on this one only because I saw that it was taken in Italy. Is it fish or are they just admiring the view? ;-).
Anyway a nice interesting shot, pretty good for one of your postings, a little late but welcome to TE.
