Here you would have done well to use a grey grduated filter to darken the sky so that it did not get over exposed. Or you could of used a red/orange filter for black and white like this one. There again sometimes a polarising filter would darken the sky. Apart from the sky being over exposed you have composed the photograph quite well although a slight shift in your POV would have eliminated the bush sticking out of one of the bales.
You chose a very very difficult photo to take but have done remarkably well
