Photographer’s Note
Today is my birthday and I want to give this photo to all the friends of TE. I hope that you like it.
This is an assembly of 4 old slides. The photos have been released in sequence in the same day, during a sunset on the sea, and make part of a series of approximately 10 shots. I have selected most meaningful in order to represent the entire phase of the sunset.
Locality: Calabria - Marine of Zambrone - near Tropea. Camera: Canon AT1 with manual exposure.
Objective: zenith MTO 1100milimeter.
Exposure: on the sun, -2 diaphragms

Ciao Ludo - and happy birthday! Nice sequential presentation of this sunset, I like how the cloud with that "hole" gradually emerges. I wonder if you have one between the 1st and 2nd shot here, because it looks like it was an "Omega" sunset, judging by the shape of the sides of the sun as it touches the horizon in the 2nd shot... regards, Daniel

Ciao Ludo.
Il tramonto è, per definizione, un divenire, e tu l'hai interpretato bene con questa sequenza che ce lo fa apprezzare appieno, e anche parecchio da vicino, grazie al cannone che hai montato.
Buona giornata. Bobo.

Hello Ludo,
Fabulous sequential shots of the sun going to sleep. The ancient Maya used to believe that the sun became tired and turned red as it went to the underworld — and was carried on a litter through the underworld, only to rise fresh in the morning. Your photograph would have been convincing for them that they were on the right track.
Warm regards, and happy birthday. I just saw in Isabela Sor's dedication.

Hi Ludo,
Happy Birthday! (although a little belated). It is not easy to shoot the sun, you've done an amazing job at it. Wondful colors.
Well done,

Hi Ludo:
Although this series of shots, I need a little bit of definition, I also know that it is not easy to develop.
I like collage and the sequence presented in a vertical format, vivid color within an original idea.

Hey,
I like what youve done with this one... a clever and creative idea. It reminds me of the Australian Aboriginal flag - it's just that - a yellow sun in the middle of red and black.
Thanks,
Dave

Hello ludo
Here is a good idea to compose this picture with a set of four!. This technic is no used often enough I think. I did a couple of times but not more.
Best regards
