Photographer’s Note

The Ulisse's race-boat unfold every year, about the end of august.
These are the characteristic boats used.
The crew is formed of six rowers and a chief boat.
The boats you see, have a rest on the seafront of Siderno, a town on the Jonian cost in Calabria, waiting for the next year race.
It's 7,45 in the morning of november 29.

Beautiful colours and composition. These look very seaworthy boats with that high upswept bow and stern. The reflections on the right hand boat emphasis the sunset well.

ils sont superbes ces bateaux et les voir sur l'eau en compétition doit être grandiose!
là ils se reposent au frais mais ils en imposent aussi avec leurs hautes silhouettes et dans une douce lumière... très belle réalisation

Queste barche hanno una forma realmente straordinaria.
Mi rammarico non di averli conosciuti prima, avrei fatto una deviazione a Siderno per vederli quando sono andato in Calabria ed in Sicilia.
La tua POV è eccellente ed il cielo dorato fatto una decorazione meravigliosa.
