Photographer’s Note

During the festival of San Rocco the patron saint of a town in the south of Italy called Tolve, i walked around the town in the procession for the Saint and the locals that honoured him. I saw these older women that though werent walking with everyone seamed in spirit together with their fellow countrymen as they gazed and gossiped at all that passed under their balcony. the older women seemed to have so much character in their faces and i hoped to capture that.

Brava! Well seen group of women!
I would canceal the wire but doesn't matter.
I like the way they are framed in the window, and many colours of rtheir dresses.
Different moods: someone seems waiting, some other seems to have seen something very interesting far away.

A very Italian scene!

Very nice and almost amusing. The frame of the balcony, its vibrant color and the expressions of the women make a very nice image.
Too bad for the awkward perspective / tilt.

This is a great shot, Latifah. Very clasic group-photo, with a wonderful warm colour. I like the crop, which kept some details under the balcony. It's beaurtiful.
