Hello Stella,

The "Broken Tower II" is nicely framed by the opening in the rugged rocks, especially with the contrast of one portion in sunlight, the other in shadow. The water looks so inviting!

Incidentally, in my National Geographic talk on Tuesday (May 13), I hope to use your image of Castel del Monte, and a couple of the images of the Balze Rocks in Valdarno (that Mr. Ramari) shot. I'll also use Salvator Barki's "Tower of Pisa" image.

A very nicely lit composition of this watchtower. I like the point of view through the gap in the rocks with the sea rushing in. Good tonal contrasts. Very good colours and clarity.

What a viewpoint! A v shaped cleft sunlit on one side and shadowed on the other! This guides the eye straight to your focal point!

Una composizione e inquadratura davvero eccellente, con una profondità di campo incredibile. La torre esattamente al centro tra le due rocce, con il frangente in basso sono una chicca. Mi piace anche il contrasto tra le due rocce una in luce e l'altra in ombra che dà un bellissimo effetto.

marvelously composed alredy wonderful sea scenery. This natural framing with a help of crafted rocks is superb and offers not only excellent orientation towards the magnificent tower in the distance but also great sense of the place. The light dividing rocks to illuminated and shadowed part is brilliant and it feels like being situated in the middle of rocks conversation. Beautifully seen and presented!
