Photographer’s Note
This bronze sculpture of Padre Pio is located off to the right side of the main nave of the 'Chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie'.
There were throngs of people crowding up to the figure... stretching up their hands to touch his cold metal ones: hoping to be granted some blessing or miracle.
I had to rush to snap this photo before another group of pilgrims and tourists descended upon the statue.
