Photographer's Note
Arriving by sea in the pretty little port of Otranto on the "heel" of Italy, the last thing we expected to find was a major Andy Warhol exhibition. But this small town has a large citadel, the Castello Aragonese, and here they have established a significant exhibition space. Of course we had to go and see it. This is one of the results. For some reason, one visitor decided it would be cool to lie down under the famous image of Marilyn. I don't know who the visitor was, but I thought the two girls together made an interesting compostion. I'm sure neither Andy nor Marilyn would have objected.

Hi Will,
Well done to take quick advantage of this situation, and manage it in the difficult light of an exhibit space. The composition is really strong - a lot of posing going on here!

hi Will
Excellent idea and nice composition. I like the duality between the 2 girls. Marilyn in light and colors and the second one almost in silhouette.

Bernard

Museum shots are a photo style. I am always impressed by the variety of possible shots taken inside a museum. I like here the composition with the silhouette in the shadow and not as an anchor point of the composition which is more the painting.
We could be puzzle trying to guess the story behind this shot. And it is what is making the interest of this shot.
Yves.

Hi Will,
an interesting combination of the girl who lie down on the red elements and the famous Marilyn of Andy Warhol, with which you have created a funny and colorful composition, full of vitality.
The management of the light inside the room is good.
Well done.
Best regards,
Josep

Hello Will,
Andy Warhol portrait of Marilyn Monroe and the reclining young woman (not quite an "Odalisque") creates an eye catching juxtaposition. I prefer the matrix of Andy Warhol images of Marilyn at the MoMa in New York than a single portrait. However, the "juxtaposition deserves to be in the group theme, Pictures at an Exhibition.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi Will,
I like art galleries as a place to shoot, and you do something great here, incorporating the art and the interaction with it, whilst finding attractive silhouettes and a feminine theme.
Cheers
Justin
