Photographer’s Note

Do you remember as a kid, lying in the grass and looking up at the clouds, imagining different things from the shapes of the clouds?
A whale, a castle, maybe a unicorn. (Do kids do that anymore?)

When I was gowning up, my Mom would tell my brothers and me to go outside and play. "There's nothing to do," we'd say.
"Use your imagination," was her usual retort.

Use your imagination.

So what are you imagining these days? Are you using your creativity and even the technological tools that you have at your disposal to tell your story, a story, or perhaps His story?

Are you laying down in the grass and looking up at the clouds, allowing your imagination to work?

Caught this image while returning home after working, in the same day of my photo "Clouds Like Waves".

Il existe des moments merveilleux offerts par la nature, malheureusement, l'appareil photo n'est pas toujours présent.
Quel bonheur d'avoir pu saisir ce moment fugace d'une très grande beauté.

You took me back quite a while with your remark. That's exactly what it was like and kids everywhere in the world used to do the same things. Nowadays they look at the clouds from Google Earth!!! Really fantastic 3D effect of the clouds. Really impressive

Un post processing trsè efficace qui donne à cette forte et dramatique, des allures de peinture. J'aime beaucoup ce genre de ciel.

It reminds me a classical painting, for the dramatic clouds and light. Indeed, clouds are very enticing for imagining figures and stories and these are are quite appropriate for that.

What a wonderful dramatic sky you have captured here which is full of textures and shapes to stimulate even the dullest of imginations.
Love the contrast blue andgolden tones on the grown.
Your mother gave you sage advise and isn't it to bad in this electronic age how today's children seldom venture outside in an unstructured way.
