Aver colto il riflesso delle nuvole sulla battigia basta già a fare di questa immagine qualcosa di eccellente. Ma c'è anche il sole totalmente dencetrato, con tutta una serie di riflessi che vi fanno capo.
Ma non riesco ad accettare l'orizzonte inclinato.. :-(

Hello Stella,

I am seeing this image shot on August 1 — the day that the Crystal Serenity was sailing from Monte Carlo to Marseille — for the first time. It is a beautiful composition, reflecting layer upon layer of texture. The ripples in a shallow pool of water, the sheen created on the sand by the wave that has just receded, and the waves themselves in the open sea. The sunset is spectacular and placed masterfully near the far left in the horizon. An ethereal quality defines the image. You have returned to TE with a number of new entries, all of which I hope to enjoy in time.

PS I met Jose Pires (stego) in Barcelona on August 3. Just the day before I left for Europe on July 30 I met Dan Kohanski (wandering_dan) who came to Washington, DC from San Francisco. Then on August 22, I met nine TE-friends. The past 30 days has been a sojourn away from submitting photos or critiquing, but what a time for shooting new images.

What a place Stella!
Amazing colors making all the situation even more dramatic.
Excellent frame division and POV gives you the feeling you are in the situation, makes you to feel the sea water under your feet.
