Photographer’s Note

I saw this little kitten near Brindisi's harbour peeping from an old door where the fishermen use to store their fishnets. His brothers and sisters were eating, while he was too busy in observing the world around.

In the ws an image of his brother and sisters.

In 2004, a grave was excavated in Cyprus that contained the skeletons, laid close to one another, of both a Human and a Cat. The grave is estimated to be 9,500 years old, pushing back the earliest known feline-human association significantly.

I dedicate this photo to my numerous Greek friends on TE, knowing that Greek cats are very famous in the world.
