"I really don't know why it is that all of us are so committed to the sea, except I think it's because in addition to the fact that the sea changes, and the light changes, and ships change, it's because we all came from the sea.

And it is an interesting biological fact that all of us have, in our veins the exact same percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and, therefore, we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears.

We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea -- whether it is to sail or to watch it -- we are going back from whence we came".

Ho molto da imparare da te, io che in queste foto crepuscolari sono negato!
Composizione di gran gusto con gli elementi collocati nei punti di attenzione dell'immagine. Qualche dettaglio (canna da pesca e fronte della ragazza di destra) mostra imprecisione (forse è semplicemente l'algoritmo di compressione, oppure l'effetto collaterale di una maschera di contrasto) ma è un dettaglio minimo.

A very pleasing and attractive composition in a soft, relaxing mood and atmosphere. The sun is cleverly hid behind the boy's head and intensifies the shadows in beautiful natural evening colors. Just the thing many would like to be able to do.

the photo is very good. I think it is slightly oversharpened, with a white border appearing from the shrinking of pixel size. However, the merits far outweigh the demerits.

Your note also is magnificent. John Kennedy was an extraordinarily inspiring man. I was just a new university student when he was elected. As a NATO scholarship student, one of 20, I was invited to the White House, shortly before he was killed. My wife was expecting our daughter when we arrived at the White House, and that year a quirky pair of incidents colored visits to the White House. Two female visitors touring the White House had snuck into restrooms, and had given birth to babies. The Washington Post declared each time in banner headlines, "Another Baby Born in the White House," (In a more cynical age, people would have pointed at JFK.) So at the White House gates, the security members kept looking suspiciously at my wife, and she decided she would not go in. She said, "You can go in and I will wait for you at the drug store down the street." Of course, I could never have gone into the White House under those circumstances, and we left! The next day the photos appeared of President Kennedy with the other 19 Nato Scholars. On May 29, three weeks after the White House reception, my daughter (Jeannine) was born. That was also Kennedy's Birthday.

What a warm tranquil image with the youngsters enjoying the peaceful end of day sky while they try their luck at catching tomorrows dinner.
The lovely silhouetted figures go very well with your note that does make one wonder why we are all drawn to the sea.
