Fiat 500 for ever.

The Fiat 500 (the "cinquecento" [chink-way-chen-toe] from the Italian word for "500") is a car produced by the Fiat company of Italy between 1957 and 1975 (the Fiat 500 K alone was produced until 1977) and from 2007 on. It was designed by Dante Giacosa.

Launched as the Nuova 500, it was marketed as a cheap and practical town car to combat high levels of congestion in Italian cities. Measuring only 2.97 m (9 ft 9 in) long, and originally powered by a tiny 479 cc two-cylinder, air-cooled engine, the 500 redefined the term "small car" and is considered one of the first city cars.

Ciao Costantino,
che bello che nostra famosissima 500 sia così conosciuta da tutti. Il mio primo viaggio in Grecia, nel 1980, l'ho fatto proprio con una 500. La tua inquadratura è perfetta, dà un'idea esatta della praticità di questa vecchia auto che tutti ricordiamo co nostalgia. Molto belli i riflessi sulla carrozzeria, pare che ia tenuta proprio in buono stato. Complimenti.

nice idea to have this "legend" on B&W. it is an execellent "oldie" atmosphere...moreover thank you for the awaken memories of my first childhood...when my parents used to have a turquoise 500!

Today morning I was listening on the radio about this new FIAT 500 ( soviet analog was ZAZ-966). Nice b&w work. But, I think Italia is hot country. How can you drive without conditiner?

Too cute and shiny! I like this little car but I wonder if I would fit inside. Good idea to make this a B&W image as there seem to be some overexposure problem on the right. Good sharpness and angle to compose the image. Thanks Constantino.

Πολύ ωραία επιλογή το ασπρόμαυρο...

Και η σύνθεση επίσης πολύ καλή.

Όσον αφορά το αυτοκίνητο, στην Ιταλία από ότι ξέρω είναι πολύ δημοφιλές αφού χρησιμοποιείται ακόμα και σήμερα στις μεγάλες πόλεις. Είναι επίσης πολύ ακριβό αν το βρείτε...

Γειά σου Κωνσταντίνε,
Άλλη μία πολύ όμορφη φωτογραφία σε μαύρο άσπρο με ρετρό στύλ που θυμίζει άλλες εποχές. Ο φωτισμός είναι επίσης πάρα πολύ καλός. Απλά, εγώ θα επέλεγα ένα λίγο πιο ανοικτό πλάνο, ώστε να δώσω λίγο περισσσότερο "αέρα" στο Φιατάκι.

Bravo Costantino.
La mitica 500, che la vedano nel mondo... è stata la mia prima auto nel lontano 1974.
Bello il bianco e nero e l'auto così tirata a lucido.
E la Nuova 500 mi piace uguale.

Excellent choice of subject and textbook use of B/W! The contrast between the dark, shiny car and the harsh sun is just gorgeous. Looks like a scene from a cinecita film.

bella foto che evoca momenti di giovinezza.
Il colore più desiderato della 500 era per i giovani di allora il nero o il blu e questa me lo ricorda tanto.
Mi ricorda anche che nessuno poteva sedere dietro di me perchè data la mia altezza (1,88 mt) il sedile era tutto indietro.
Che tempi!!!
Molto efficace l'inquadratura e la lucentezza, io non l'ho mai avuta cosi pulita e brillante.

Ciao Costantino,
eccellente bianco/nero per questa mitica Fiat 500.
Belli i riflessi sulla carrozzeria e la persona all'interno ne rende viva l'immagine.
Il POV è di quelli giusti che permette di vedere la macchina tridimensionalmente.
