Photographer’s Note

After showing a detail view in my last posting, this is a view of the whole abbey of San Vito, 3 kms North of Polignano a Mare, located at a small harbour where in the year 801 the ship of the princess Florenza landed with the relic of Saint Vito and where the abbey was errected. Nowadays the abbay is empty, only the small chapel is open irregularly. I had the luck to find it open.

Na endlich sind dieWS-Fotos da! ;-))
So sieht's also insgesamt aus. Ein wirklich ungewöhnliches und interessantes Gebäude! Mir gefällt hier auch das herrliche Licht ganz besonders. Zusammen mit den WS-Fotos ein rundherum guter TE-Beitrag!

A very appealing composition of this lovely little harbour with its splendid backdrop. I like the way the little boats are dotted about and how they add some nice splashes of colour to the scene. Colours are excellent as is clarity. Well done.

nel tuo soggiorno pugliese hai scovato angoli veramente deliziosi. Come pugliese te ne sono grato!
La sagoma di questa abbazia, con gli archi disegnati dal cielo e queste barchette colorate è splendida. Peccato quelle macchine, ma non alterano la bellezza della foto e dello scenario.

ed ecco la splendida architettura vista nel suo insieme con uno splendido mare, qualche macchina in meno ed era una bella foto del secolo scorso, ma non si puo' tutto dalla vita

ein sehr schönes Bild, Komposition und alles perfekt hier und besonders gefallen mir die schönen kräftigen Farben, eine sehr schöne Kapelle und wenn man sich die WS-Bilder ansieht, dann sieht man, dass sie auch von innen sehr schön aussieht. Klasse Bild, gefällt mir sehr gut!

Muchísimo mejor que la anterior claro que si! El poder ver lo grande del edificio al compararlo con los coches o los barcos hace la foto mucho mejor que la otra! Al menos a mi entender claro!

una vista così rilassante della marina tipica dei paesini pugliesi. Ottima la luce che evidenzia maggiormente i colori vividi delle imbarcazioni e l'architettura locale sempre interessante.
