Photographer's Note
The Basilica Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and Saint Berardo is the most important piece of art in Teramo. The construction began in 1158 under the wish of the bishop Guido II, because he was eager to have a new location for San Berardo da Pagliara memorabilia. It was consecrated and completed in 1176. Most of the material used to build was taken from the theater and the Roman amphitheater. The tower built in 11th and 12th centuries has three bells and it is 165 ft (50.29 m) long. Another relevant masterpiece is the silver canopy of Nicola da Guardiagrele, which took 15 years to be built (from 1433 to 1448). Since September 8, 2007, it is now possible to visit the subterranean crypt of Saint Berardo da Pagliara, the patron saint of Teramo.

Beautiful photography - not just of the cathedral but the sensitivity of the reflection. What would have been a simple photograph of old world architecture has become a pleasure to watch and enjoy. There is clarity, sharpness and saturation of colours in subdued light.
The photograph has been made interesting by the horizontal reflection where the subject is shown in opposite features in the reflection - though on the same level.
Thanks for sharing.

Ciao caro Silvio,
An interesting note and a very interesting and somewhat unusual photograph to illustrate it!
Your photograph is very striking indeed. The right side of the image would be a fine picture by itself but, when married to the left part of the image with its sublime reflections of the cathedral, it becomes quite magical. And now the tall tower dominates the centre of the picture perfectly.
This is a lovely "low key" photograph but still there is plenty of wonderful detail visible in the deepest shadows. The colours are lovely, the exposure perfect and the sharpness excellent.
Fabulous!
Kind Regards,
John.

Salve
Colpo splendida piazza del centro storico di Teramo. Fotografie in un colore un po 'scuro, ma è un utile quadro di mistero e magia. La composizione mi piace.
Ciao

Hello Silvio! This idea with its two side and reflection is splendid and you present it from an excellent POV , with the beautiful facade of the dark building at right .
May be a little lack of light sharpness ? but excellent bg the sharpness and overall quality of the subjects are very good.
fine work

Hello Silvio,
A very moody composition making excellent use of the framing reflections to counterpoint the silhouettes on the right.
