Photographer's Note
The old village Sperone is located about 7 km from the border of the "forks". Its perched position is set to fall on a slope. The oldest name of the village dates back to the union of two castles called "Sparnasio" and "Donkey", both of which were destroyed; resources it one that was called "Sperond'Asino." On the small center is still the castle tower placed at 1240 m. altitude, dating from the second half of the thirteenth century. Important garrison of warning and defense of the village below, the tower is octagonal and circular outside inside with an outer diameter of 8 meters and a height of about 16 m. The entrance is about 12 yards and two shelves on the wall protruding let us assume that at one time was using a wooden ladder truck.

Blanket with snow, the hillside village looks asleep, valter.
Nice taken a higher POV over, the tower stand prominently above town, A guardian from ancient times, and well in contrast to the surroundings.

Hello Valter,
This is a fascinating view and an interesting story. The village is attractively set along the hillside, but to me the most fascinating aspect of this photo is the irregular green area on the left part, seemingly untouched by the snow and yet with so much snow around it. On the right side the vegetation is predominantly brown.
Kind regards,
Gert

Ciao Valter,
Complimenti e grazie!
Tanti saluti e buona settimana,
Ourania

Caro Valter

Bellissimi i tre colori dominanti, azzurro, bianco e verde. Interessante nota.
Saluti

Hi Valter
Good presentation Bayno we get to learn something new everyday and this is unbelievable. The dwelling on the slope is almost camouflaged amongst the snow scene if not because of the clear separation of colors and this reflects tranquility of the landscape. This mountain scene is so captivating with the tower strategically placed as a strong point, so much of fine elements to enjoy. It's beautifully framed, fine clarity, of an almost fully covered patches of white snow and you've certainly made the most of that sky beautifully. Indeed a fine shot conveying a mood of peace. Congrats
Kind regards
