Photographer’s Note

The Long Walk is the name of this street on Galway quays, famous for its coloured houses. The photo was token from Nimo's Pier, on the other bank of River Corribh. Galway is the countu seat of County Galway and the third biggest city of Ireland with et a little more than 70,000 inhabitants (the two first are Dublin and Cork). Galway is one of the city that grew the most in last decades, and this causes many problems about infrastructure (heavy traffic, water quality, ...). Last time I've been there, you couldn't drink tap water ! Galway is also a very popular touristic place. First because it is a gateway to Connemara. But overall because of its great night life, one of the hottest in Ireland !
