Anyone for a pint? Photo

Photographer’s Note

A few of us were out taking photos during the morning, and decided on a few pints after. So, we stopped in a nice pub (The Ferryman) for a pint or two. The Guinness looked so inviting, and it went down so easy.

The Ferryman is a well enough known pub down the quays in Dublin. It used to be frequented by U2, when they worked in the Windmill Lane studio.

Nothing wrong with beer photographs Paul - I have a few in my gallery myself!
Here though, I think I'd have shifted framing to the left a bit to get rid of that intruding bottle of Magners and also tried to get more of a gap between the Guinness glass and the guy's head.
That condensation on the glass is making my mouth water though...

I'd join you with pleasure, but I hate flying ;-) the only alternative is to drive from Poland to Dublin (using on the way a car ferry of course); who knows? can you wait a week or two? I'm afraid meanwhile this Guinness will get flat... seriously - sharp & crispy FG, nicely blurred BG - convincing shot!
