Photographer’s Note
Taken from the top of the path through glenveagh looking down into the valley, this part of the valley can be accessed from the doogary road via a small gate in the deer fence, or you can walk up from glenveagh castle for those who like to stroll up mountain paths (pathways are shown in the visitors centre).
When visited this area later in 2007 watched a golden eagle fly across this valley (golden eagles are being reintroduced to Ireland after years of absence) and along the opposite hillside, wild and beautiful area with lots of red deer to be seen.

It seems to be a splendid valley with a beautiful light and a nice sky . But your picture is too little . It's a pitty .

Hi Philipp,
It looks like we walked on the same path ! I was there 10 days ago ;) Nice view of this great valley, we can see the lough in the background. I love the effects of the clouds on the very green mountains. It's a shame you have not posted a bigger one ...
