Photographer’s Note
At the entrance to the Poisoned Glen and just past Dunlewy village in the shadow of Mount Errigal stand the burned ruins of a church. The walls are still complete. The white marble of which it was built was quarried just a few hundred yards away. The adjacent graveyard contains a single gravestone. At one time it was the local parish church. Apparantly few will go near the old church for it is said to be haunted.
Taken 25 mins before sunset.
Thanks for looking :)

Beautiful light Gary. The church is well placed in the scene along with the FG rocks. So did you stick around after dark to see if the rumours are true??

Hi Gary,
I can pick out your images in a crowd - I think its partly because of the deep rich tones you present. Is that in part the work of the ND Grad that you seem to use often? I haven't yet ventured there but have been checking into that level of technology. Any ideas or suggestions. Yes, this is another stunning image perfectly composed and as I say, presented with awesome colors. Well done and TFS. Gerald

Hi Gary,
A splendid snap with a nice golden colour tone. The POV is excellent to frame the ruined church and the reflection of rays of the setting sun. Great composition.

Hi Gary,
Very nice shot. I love this kind of ruins, standing in a wild landscape. The composition is very well balanced, the sharpness is excellent and the light and colours are very pleasant. I will be in Donegal in a few weeks, I hope I will have such a good light !

Hi Gary,
Very nice with those rocks. Like they were once part of the ruined church. The sun crawling from behind the clouds in the distance. Some captivating blue graduals in the sky. Very nice!
Enjoy your weekend!
