I couldn't help but notice that this Burger King advert in Cork, for what must be nearing 800 calories of burger, was a little too close to the truth.

I was also lucky to get another potential killer in the one shot...excessive usage of mobile phones.

Very good idea,I agree with you.I stay quite far by these 'killers',I also wanted to do this kind of photos...about fast foods...not yet.I preferred a smaller distance between the subjects.Have a wonderful day.

Hi Brendan,

That's a great catch! One wonders why Burger King would choose such an advertisement. I mean, that's not directly something to be proud of; That junk-food killed the more traditional eating habits....

Cell phone and burgers... much like North American culture... I am still without a mobile phone, a real dynosaur I am.
The capture is funny and a great street shot, would have been the icing on the cake if the man were just a bit closer to the board, but then again, he probably wouldn't have the burger in his mouth :)

Hi Brendan,

Nicely spotted, I could sense you might have been a bit hurried with this one, trying to catch both human subjects against this fantastic backdrop of a sign, but you've done well. The irony of it all I think, in addition to the obvious killer signs, is the baby in the stroller, probably still too young to take it all in, and not sure of what awaits him/her in life, and the horrible trappings that make our end more premature than it perhaps should be. :) Let's just hope they don't grow up and be one of those masses that goes to that door with the pull sign and spend way too many meals in there.

It's the other guy who looks like the real serial killer - the way he is biting down on whatever with that intense and committed look - I find this one really humourous mate! When are you going - it must be soon - sorry not to catch you - although I've been in London a few times this last month - bon voyage to you both!
