Photographer’s Note
I took this photo on a stag weekend on clear island
from a small boat. About 4 mileS from the island
is Fastnet light house,it stands 160 feet high and during a storm in the late 80's it was submerged.
This lighthouse was built 1899-1903. Made of Cornish stone, it replaced the original built in 1854.
Called the Teardrop by emigrants heading west to America, it features an annual yacht race.
