Most of the Irish naval vessels were designed and built in Ireland. They guard our coast and act as fisheries protection vessels. She was on show as part of the Tall Ships festival.

A very interesting shot. I like the format you have chosen to present it. It is peculiar to see a war ship with all these flags like in a party. Regards.

Hi Paul,
I didn't know you boys had a Navy? It's a fine looking vessel though I'd like to have seen more of the surroundings, it's a bit too tight in the frame for me but that's only a personal view. The mainly grey colouring of the ship and the buildings is broken up by the occasional flashes of colour from the bunting, it has good sharpness and overall it's a fine capte my friend, well seen.
