Ballinskelligs Bay during very good weather.
My view for a week long, sunshine, storm for days, sunny in between, rain, so I would call it real Irish weather. No matter what kind of weather, is was always beautiful. The same view during very bad weather can be seen
here. I like the shadows of the clouds on the hills very much.

On this picture you can finally see the Skellig Islands, of which the smaller one houses 40.000 gannets, and on the bigger one are the remains of St. Finian's abbey, founded in 520 AD, with 6 beehive huts and a chapel fully intact. A picture of St. Finian's abbey, can be found here

auto-levels, cropped, saturated the green a bit, sharpened and added a frame.

The skelligs, great place, did you take the "ferry" to go there?
your picture shows well that part of Ireland, treeless, hilly, with deep inlet and a rugged coastline... and you had Sun!

Beautiful colors. And so large. I didn't realize how large it was until I noticed the buildings. It's rocky but green. It almost looks like moss growing on rock. The houses seem like little toys in this landscape. And a great sky to it all. I really like those clouds. Very nicely composed. This landscape has a strong charm to it. Excellent job.

Ja, zo zie ik Ierland,
heerlijke landschapsfoto en oneindig
lekker ver kijken !

A really beautiful photo here; the shadows on the hills are amazing. Really good effort!

Another very good shot from ireland, Rinie. I like the large area of water andthe nice Islands. The irish coastline curves are nice, too. THe view is a bit hazy, you could eliminate it by addind some contrast, but this is a very nice shot.

Une jolie vue , j'aime voir l'ombre des nuages , sur les montagnes , le cadrage est puissant et les couleurs tres belles .

Great landscape with a perfect framing. It seems to be a bit noisy though. This is coming perhaps from the sharpening. Good work.

I can well understand you like this view, it's beautiful ;-)
As Yitzhak pointed out it could perhaps do with a little contrast, only trouble with that is, that if you do that, the small over-exposed white houses will look even more over-exposed. Another way of going about it would have been to stop down 1/3 on exposure, but that's a bit hard to do *after* the event..
Did you get to see the gannets close up?

Nice panorama of this beautiful Irish bay, Rinie. It's picturesque and imposing in one go. The compo is very nice with much space reserved for the sea and sky and all those nicely strewn out white houses. Fine job!

Wow, a very beautiful view, Rinie, just the way I love it. A sweeping wide-angle shot with a lot of impressive sky, and a beautiful coastline with the curving shore and the rolling hills. If it weren't for all the beauty, the predominance of the blue color would finally make it a winner for me :-) I agree w/ Yitzhak that some added contrast should enhance this even more. Great shot!

Yep, you hit the right target with this one. I love landscapes. The scene looks so pleasant. The houses really give you an idea of the dimension of this incredibly beautiful bay.

Beautiful view of this coast Rinie. Moody sky, moody land, moody everything. A really wonderful blue you got here, it's like a painting. An ideal landscape/seascape. Very nicely catched as you brought everything here. The land, the sea, islands and cloudy sky, a bit hazy horizon to add some mistery and that's it. A wonderful picture. Very nice catch.

Wow! Fantastic depth and perspective of this magnificent landscape, and excellent clarity of sky, Rinie! :-) Wonderful framing and finely managed details in the composition. Excellent shot again!

Rinie, this is a very good landscape photo. It looks so refreshing and the absence of any big and distracting elements allows us to just focus in the beauty that spreads in the frame. Nice frame too. I am impressed by its simplicity. Very good work.

I didn't saw this one... That a very nice landscape with nice colors. Irland seems a beautiful country to visit! Maybe one day...
