Photographer’s Note

During a visit to my home town of Ballybunion in county Kerry, I noticed this flower growing wild in a hedge row. I liked the little composition of flower leaves and wood. Sorry I do not know the flowers name.

Hello Tim -

This is a marvelous capture. The flower and leaf are sharply in focus and stand away from the background. The black background to right is perfect to highlight the flower while the logs to busy up the image a bit I still think they work. Lighting is spot on. Bravo, well done!

Lovely shot, Tim. The composition is really nice to begin with and then the flower stands out so sharply against the darker background it's just beautiful. The colors are superb. Well seen and captured. Really nice shot! regards,
