Oh my! That's the Emerald Islem, all right!

You've captured the texture of the hills, the diffuse light through the clouds, even the stream at the bottom of the valley just perfectly. I think this is one of the most perfect shots I've seen here on TE.

Hi Marta,
Amazing light condition here (either that or you've done some processing to soften the image.
It is wonderfully details and full of texture, yet so soft.
The streams winding their way through the image create a good composition, though I can't help feeling that a strong foreground object would have made this a stunner

First thing that came on my mind when I saw this picture was a very old classic movie "How green my valley was."
You captured a really stunning green color of this place.

That s what i was trying to explain Anette about how Ireland is ...naked rocks in green, old mountains , folds , land scars ...just as a desert impression but dyed in emerald . Impressively awesome
